Mr. and Mrs. Barnett | Kaminski House Museum

Having both attended Coastal Carolina University, Nicala and Tommy knew that when they said their vows, they wanted it to happen where it all began. Leaving their home in Florida for the weekend, these two invited family and friends to Georgetown, South Carolina to celebrate their marriage at the Kaminski House Museum. This stunning venue overlooks the water while capturing that Low Country feel that is so special to South Carolina. This day was full of celebration with friends and family and lots of love between the bride and groom.

Nicala’s color scheme incorporated a lot of greens, whites, and light blues. This soft color palate was perfect for spring and complimenting the low country’s natural beauty. Having an emphasis on green, photographing the details allowed me to incorporate a lot of greenery for a very full and intricate look, while balancing those shots with more simple layouts.

Nicala and her girls got ready in the prettiest house in Georgetown, and it made the perfect backdrop for her getting ready photos, mom and daughter portraits, and dress reveal to her bridal squad.

This bridal crew was tons of fun and shared lots of laughs while having their pictures taken. I’m all about embracing the personalities of the people I’m photographing and I loved having fun with Nicala and Tommy’s friends!

Tommy and Nicala’s ceremony was all about bringing people together and becoming a family. They said their vows under beautiful low country trees, shared stories of what brought them together, and finally became husband and wife!

When asked about their relationship, Nicala and Tommy both agreed it revolved around a lot of laughs. This was present throughout the whole day as the couple celebrated together and with the people they love. It was an honor to capture this day for you, Mr. and Mrs. Barnett!
