Back in early fall, a mutual friend of Lindsay and I sent Lindsay my way as she was working on a plan to propose to her girlfriend Hannah. Hannah and Lindsay had just moved into a new apartment and had discussed wanting some photos to hang on the wall, and Lindsay thought it was the perfect cover story for an engagement. Lindsay and I met up at Anne Springs Greenway to walk the trails and plot our path in October and set everything in motion for the big day in November. The day came and it was gorgeously sunny and the perfect fall day and the proposal was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. If you look closely at the photos, you can see Hannah screaming ” I knew it! ” as she had suspected that she would be getting engaged oh so soon. We finished out our session with some adorable portraits of these two and then I said my goodbyes so they could FaceTime the fam.
Fast forward a few months, and Hannah started plotting her own surprise. Hannah had reached out about doing some more photos to show off her new haircut, but also had a surprise for Lindsay in the making. I met Hannah and Lindsay in Romare Bearden Park in January for some real snuggly winter time portraits, but what Lindsay didn’t know was that Hannah and I had plotted another surprise proposal. It’s safe to say from the photos that Lindsay had not seen it coming which made the surprise all the better. Two rings, two proposals, and two absolutely adorable humans. Hannah and Lindsay are those people you meet that feel like you’ve known them forever and I have been so honored to capture their love for each other. To top it all off, their story has now been featured on How They Asked by The Knot! I can’t thank the team at HTA enough for the opportunity to share this story on a larger platform. All this to say that I have a huge amount of love for these two and I can’t wait to see what comes next in their story!
