I met Kaylee during my last year teaching and it was during that school year when I started hearing about her new boyfriend, Reid. Kaylee’s eyes would light up every time she talked about Reid, and before long she said she would be calling me for photos in the future. Flash forward almost two years, and it was time for Reid and Kaylee’s wedding day. This Saturday morning at Rolling Hill Farms was a warm spring day dotted with a little drizzle. I spent the beginning of the day capturing Kaylee’s incredible details while she and her bridesmaids and Reid and his groomsmen relaxed and enjoyed getting ready. We then headed out to photograph Kaylee’s first looks with her dad and step-dad, and her first touch and vow exchange with Reid. I loved how she had sweet and thoughtful gifts for all the important people in her life, and I loved how Reid and Kaylee exchanged their vows in an intimate reading by themselves on the porch. Their ceremony was sweet and filled with their love for the Lord and you could see the joy on their guests faces as these two exchanged rings. A downpour during family photos didn’t stop us from heading back out to capture some fun shots of the bridal party and some intimate bride and groom moments, and wow do I love all the shots of these two. After portraits Reid and Kaylee spent the evening greeting all their guests, dancing the night away, and waving goodbye to everyone in the rain. I had the best time with these two and their wedding crew and I’m so glad teaching was able to bring Kaylee and I together. A huge cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Grayson!
