I have to tell y’all, Davidson is the cutest little town. Located just north of Charlotte, this downtown area served as the perfect backdrop for Caitlin and Edward’s engagement photos. Getting married not too far from main street, we spent the first part of the evening photographing these cuties at Davidson College. There’s just something about a college campus that I really love. The architecture is always so unique at historic universities and I love the walkable green spaces. We kicked off Edward and Caitlin’s portraits here soaking in the pretty views and sharing a toast on the greenway. These two communicate and move together so well and it was really fun to watch them settle in and really enjoy their photos.
After our time on campus, we explored downtown and stopped for portraits at several Davidson classic spots like Kindred, The Pickled Peach, and Main Street Books. These locations have such main street charm and photographed so well against Caitlin’s floral dress. I love when my brides embrace color and Caitlin went all in, giving their photos all the more depth and vibrance. I seriously can’t wait to have these two back in front of my camera this October at River Run Country Club!
