Sammy and Conner | The Duke Mansion

I have long admired the beauty of the Duke Mansion and its stunning gardens here in Charlotte. Getting to photograph such an incredible space last August could only be made more perfect by celebrating the engagement of kind, beautiful people. After meeting in optometry school in Tennessee, Sammy and Conner’s careers have brought them to Fort Brag, North Carolina. Having family all over the country, Conner and Sammy decided to host their wedding in Charlotte to bring everyone together at the Ballantyne Hotel. When thinking about their engagement photos, they wanted a space that allowed them to be equally elevated but also celebrate the beauty of the outdoors, and it’s safe to say the grounds of the Duke Mansion fit the bill. I can’t wait to celebrate Sammy and Conner’s big day this July here in Charlotte and to have them in front of my camera again in just a few short months!
