There’s nothing quite like spring in the city. To capture the feel of their Uptown wedding, Elizabeth and Evan and I spent time in Romare Bearden and Marshall Park for their engagement portraits last May. We started our time in Romare Bearden in Elli and Evan’s black and white causal looks. Romare was in full bloom and offered a vibrant green backdrop for the couple’s champagne toast. After our time at Romare, the couple changed into their elevated looks and we headed to Marshall Park to capture these stunning golden hour city views. Evan and Elli really wanted photos that gave a preview of their Uptown wedding day and I think these photos are that and more. I loved getting to know Elli and Evan more during this session and it made me all the more excited for their wedding day at Terrace at Cedar Hill. I can’t wait to see these two again this May!
