Jillian and Reed | Hotel Domestique

When Jillian told me she wanted to travel to Hotel Domestique for her engagement portraits with her fiance Reed, I was giddy with excitement. Nestled near Greenville, South Carolina, Hotel Domestique captures all the glory of the Italian countryside without ever leaving the states. This beautiful April morning was crisp and quiet in Travelers Rest and filled with beautiful morning light. We started our day poolside by the hotel’s famous courtyard, capturing mountain views and fountain-side moments. As we explored the front of the hotel, the ivy-lined walls, and the vineyards lining the property, I got to hear about Reed’s work as a geologist, their wedding plans, and all the things they were excited for in the future. Reed and Jillian have such an ease with each other and a friendship that you can see right from the start. I can’t wait to photograph more of Jillian and Reed this April in Uptown here in Charlotte!
