There’s so much I love about Marie and Jacob. They have such a heart for each other and their loved ones and it shows through everything they do. This warm October day began bright and early for Jay and Marie as they prepared for their I-Dos at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Marie and I spent our morning taking bridals while the choir practiced in the courtyard. Jay and Marie’s attention to detail throughout the day was incredible, from their custom designed crest, to Jay’s gamer cufflinks, to Marie’s mom’s gifts from her grandmother. Their ceremony was performed by a friend of the family and included various hymns sung by their friends in the choir. I loved the ways in which Jay and Marie made the ceremony so special to them, and the way they prioritized this part of their day. The two then gathered outside for a bird seed exit before sending friends off, and moving on to a private reception hosted by a family friend. Marie and Jay’s immediate family toasted them over their backyard lunch and the afternoon was spent reliving memories and discussing the future. Mr. and Mrs. Addison are a testament to making lemonade out of lemons and made the day safe and enjoyable for everyone despite the ever on-going Covid. Marie and Jay, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
