Shortly after meeting Edward and Caitlin, she told me she knew pretty quickly into their relationship that Edward was her person. She described Edward as supportive, calming, appreciative, loving, and above all that he feels like home. Caitlin also shared that often Edward will leave sticky notes around the house and in the car for her to find with little messages of things he loves about her. She said things like this make the love feel consistent and strong and I just adored how loving these two are toward each other.

Edward and Caitlin said I Do on a beautiful sunny day in October. After putting on finishing touches with the help of her bestie, Caitlin participated in a gown reveal with her bridesmaids before heading outside for portraits. We embraced the wind and sun as we captured Caitlin in all her bridal glory before getting her ready for her first look with Edward. The two exchanged heartfelt letters before saying tearful hellos. After walking around getting portraits with their bridal party and family, Caitlin and Edward walked down the aisle surrounded by their closest loved ones. In their handwritten vows, the couple promised to always laugh together, remember to be kind, and to put family first. It was all smiles as the new Mr. and Mrs. walked back up the aisle and joined their guests to party at cocktail hour.

Edward and Caitlin wanted their reception to be all about fun and a having a good time. These two kicked it off with first dances before thanking their guests for attending. The couple’s best man and matron of honor gave nostalgic speeches recalling childhood stories that had the guests crying with laughter. After that, it was a nonstop party on the dance floor. The bridal party led the way as they encouraged family to join them for drinks and showing off their best moves. Before long, the room was cleared and Edward and Caitlin shared that last private dance before ending the night with a sparkler exit. All in all, you can’t ask for better humans who love each other and their people well. To Caitlin and Edward, you are both absolute gems and I’m so excited to see what comes next in your journey!
