Mr. and Mrs. Faucette | The Carolina Barn of Angier

When I originally met Andrea and Steve last May for their engagement session, it honestly felt like getting together with old friends. I left feeling like I had known them for years rather than knowing them for two hours. They’re the type of people who just make you feel welcome no matter how long you’ve been in their life. Steve and Andrea grew up down the street from each other and have weathered the trials of high school, college, and the beginnings of adult life together. I always love a story of long time lovers, and you could tell these two were truly the best of friends. When I was photographing their rehearsal dinner the night before their wedding, when asked how they were feeling they just kept saying “we’re ready”. Their wedding day was so beautiful and at every turn you could see the thought and detail put into each decision. From Andrea and Steve’s special connections with their bridal party, to their stationary designed with drawings of their venues, to the incredible design of their reception, this wedding did not lack for design. What made it truly special though was Andrea and Steve’s love for each other and their family’s love for them. From Steve’s smile seeing Andrea walking down the aisle, to the sweetest daddy daughter dance, to Andrea’s twin brother Andrew’s speech that had almost everyone in tears. The love for these two could be felt throughout the entire day, and that’s exactly the kind of story I like to celebrate. Mr. and Mrs. Faucette, I sure am a big fan of you guys and I can’t wait to see what comes next in your story!
