The Move to Montford

Since moving to Charlotte in 2016, my best friend Linda and I had discussed wanting to move closer into the city.  While we had enjoyed our time in south east Charlotte, we both liked the idea of being closer to South End and Uptown.  At the beginning of the year, we decided to officially start apartment shopping.  Our search took a bit of a dramatic turn a few weeks into shopping however with the arrival of COVID.  Leasing offices started closing, our original apartment selection fell through, and we wound up choosing a new place that we had never toured.  For anyone who has to move during this crazy time, definitely brace yourself for adventure.  That being said, we have loved calling this place home since our move in June and are loving our new Montford neighborhood even more.  So excited to finally share the new place with you guys and can’t wait to have you over for wine soon!
